"Sustainable Development -Green Supply Chain" Technical Seminar Success Fully Held


On the afternoon of October 15, 2020, "Sustainable Development -Green Supply Chain" technical seminar was successfully held in Shishi Grand Honor International Hotel.

 



The seminar was held by CNTAC Testing Services Co., Ltd.(Quanzhou)  .More than 200 representatives from textile and garment, leather shoe materials, chemical agents and dyeing and finishing enterprises, representatives of production and processing and sales trade enterprises from the upstream and downstream of the textile and clothing and accessories supply chain attended the meeting.

 



The special guests of the seminar include Marks & Spencer, Next, Primark, ZDHC and experts from dyeing and finishing enterprises to share the best practice examples of green manufacturing and management of textile and garment and accessories supply chain from the perspectives of brand, supply chain, green organization and testing / certification agency.


Toiny Pang from Marks & Spencer introduced "M&S Chemical Compliance" through live video. Lydia Lin, East Asia Implementation Director of the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Foundation (ZDHC) gave a detailed explanation on "How to build a Sustainable Supply Chain with Good Chemical Control". Wu Zaosheng,Professor of Xi'an Engineering University, shared the "Practice of Chemical Management  in Textile Supply Chain". Finally, Zhang Shengyuan,Ethan,Chemical Director of CNTAC Testing Services Co.,Ltd.(Quanzhou) and ZDHC Accredited  Trainer Provider, analyzed the theme of "Chemical Management for the Textile Industry:Procurement Policy and Chemical Management Team".



In the interactive link of the meeting, the participating enterprises actively spoke and asked questions, and fully discussed and exchanged issues such as textile and clothing, leather and footwear materials, chemicals and dyeing and finishing.



The technical seminar on sustainable development green supply chain was successfully concluded, The conference has been well explained for the problems in the supply chain of traditional textile clothing and accessories, such as high energy consumption, high pollution, high emission and low efficiency.
