Recall Notifications – 2020 – 3536 Week

 

In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, the European Union, the United States, Canada and other countries have established special early warning and notification mechanisms. The European Union RAPEX system, the US CPSC official website and the Canadian Health Canada official website regularly publish information on the recall of unsafe products that appear in their borders. The United States and Canada will also implement joint recalls of certain products.

 

From the 35th to 36th week of 2020, there are 19 cases of consumer goods recalled in the US and EU markets, including 1 case of textile products and footwear, 17 cases of toys, and 1 case of accessories. The recalled cases mainly involve safety issues such as health risks, excessive chemical components, small parts (choking), and swallowing hazards.
